Here is a Strat Plus you do not see very often. The color is called Ice Blue. I have found only 2 of these in the years of collecting. This color is up there with Bahama Green and Taos Turquoise. Kind of like a light colored Caribbean Mist. Your thoughts?

Yeah that's nice. I had one that color, but I sold it. I would of kept it if it had a maple fretboard like yours. Mine was a 1998, what is yours?

I did not know you had one of these. Cool. This one is a late 1993. Sure do not see these that often. A 1998? Don't see those that often either.

Yeah I haven't seen too many 98's myself, this had a N7 serial but neck date was 1998.

Here's a pic.

I haven't seen a blue agave strat in person so I'm not really sure.

NGD! Just arrived yesterday, bought on eBay. It's a 1997 Strat Plus in inca silver. It came with a SD Little 59 in the bridge, but the original gold Lace sensor was included so I reinstalled it this afternoon. The guitar is in perfect condition and came with the original case, strap, strap locks; even the key for the case. It plays and sounds great; I think it's my new favorite guitar. Even the back cover looks like new.

I'm curious whether they're were any big differences between the early Plus models and the later models, like this one. Besides the nut of course. Were they later ones considered to be of lesser quality for some reason?

I paid the opening price of $900. I was the only bidder for some reason. Shipping was free and I figure I can sell the Little 59 for a few bucks, so I'm happy. It only has a couple of really tiny spots on it and minimal fret wear. Even the trem cover is spotless. The setup was already perfect; all I did was put the Lace pickup back in, polish the frets, and put on a fresh set of strings. I'm very happy, so it was a good deal to me.

Yeppers, Picked it up a few weeks ago. I needed to level a few frets as there were a few high ones down around the 19th for some odd reason. Not quite as catchy of a color like some but still kind of cool - ice cool...... 8)

The strat plus has been my favorite guitar since I started playing the guitar. I've had many over the years. In fact, my close friend and I both love these guitars. This is our collection as of right now.

The 2 on the left are his.

1997 Fender Strat Plus Deluxe
1992 Fender Tele Plus

The 2 on the right are mine.

1990 Fender Strat Plus Deluxe
1996 Fender Strat Ultra 50th Anniversary

Some of them are a little beat up but still play and sound amazing!

Very nice! Your player Plus (1990) is almost identical to my player plus, except I build an ultra wiring system for it. Love that guitar. Right now I have a Ebony Ultra neck on mine but think i will put the maple back on.
