I got mine trained - she bought me my Am Dlx last year.

Problem is she also feels I no longer need any more guitars and even if I sell any of the guitars I have for a profit there will be an arguement over whether I use the full amount to pay off bills or buy another guitar equal to the orignal amount I have invested in my guitars and only use the profits for bills.

My opinion of course is that if I make $1000 profit off the sale of a guitar, I should be able to spend the same amount I paid for it to replace it with a comparable or better guitar and use the profits to pay some bills. Otherwise I'd rather find another way of earning some extra cash. :P

Maybe not, but as long as I don't sell the guitar I avoid what I consider a stupid fight regardless of who is right or wrong. :P

oh, and it wouldn't be the first time I've fallen asleep with a guitar in my arms. Wifey once found me asleep on the couch with my guitar in playing position and a pick in my hands, palm resting on the bridge.

I am a novice in the electric guitar world as I have stated so my opinion isnt from any sort of expertise. I have a Plus that I have an unnatural attachment to! Few years ago I went to purchase my dream acoustic after decades of so so acoustics..I went fully intending to buy a Gibson, Taylor or Martin..tried several models could not find one that had "it" saw this Breedlove Stage over in the corner thought what the heck..Instant Bonding incredible tone..feel etc perfect neck.I could go on for 3 or 4 days but I will spare you. Okay back to point of thread..I started out my Electric venture with an el cheapo epi SG in my mind the SG shape was closest to a dreadnaught..yep that makes perfect sense in Mona land, While going to my electric lessons I noticed this Torino Red Plus hanging on the wall picked it up..and I just knew I could be friends with it for a lifetime..Mom and Pop shop saved it for me so I could scrape up the funds..The owner played it for me..the tone of the Gold Lace pickups ahhhh..The neck just says pick me up everytime I walk by it ..I have yet to even come close to the sounds the shop got out of the guitar but I know it can..lol Sorry my answer was so long but its difficult to explain how you just know when a guitar is perfect!
