Now one inquires as to whether or not you should have retained one for posterity?

Yes instead of having one for posterity and am kicking myself in the posterior!

Well brother, I'll take a page from your own Book and suggest that a Higher Authority likely decided otherwise. 8) Someone else needed that guitar more than you, and you were to be the Messenger. Hope you didn't let it go for 30 pieces of silver.

At $19 per ounce, if the pieces of silver were big enough, he could be quite happy.

BTW; Everyone ought to own at least one Les Paul in defference to the Grand Master. :D

I have an Ebony Frost as well. Mine has a kind of sparkle to the paint, I can't tell in your pic, but does yours? Mine has a Maple fretboard, and I changed a few things to make it like an Ultra. Great guitar.

Hello there!

Yup, it has little sparkle in the paint, but nothing massive :)
Great guitar so far, maybe I change gold bridge PU back to red.

If you decide to mount a red at the bridge, I'd suggest moving the gold to middle and see how you like that setup.

Here is a hard to find Strat Plus being only available in 1995, and thereabouts. (At least from all the research I have done trying to pinpoint colors and availability. I have owned a lot of Plus' but only 2 of these. The blue is very bright metallic and not to be confused with Lake Placid Blue. I was happy to find this came with all the paperwork, hang tags, case candy, etc.
