The main reason I'm hesitating to purchaspe a CP '60s is the trussrod-adjustment. Do You really have to srew off the neck if you want to adjust the neck a little bit??

Hi Miguel,
I don't have a CP-60s Strat, but according to the pics and the idea that this is a '60s style guitar I believe that this Strat does not have the headstock accessible truss rod. However, according to The Fender Stratocaster Handbook, you can make adjustments to the truss rod by loosening the strings and simply unscrewing the bolts in the back about 1 inch. Using this method you wouldn't have to remove the neck.
If you like everything else about this guitar I wouldn't let the lack of headstock access determine whether you buy it or not. Truss rod adjustments are not needed so often that this would become a major problem.

Thanks Russ, I ordered the Stratocaster Handbook 2 months ago, and I'm still waiting, though they said it would take 3, maybe 4 weeks. Maybe I should make a decision and trade my HWY1 for the Classic Player!
Greetings from Belgium

Miguel,
The Fender Stratocaster Handbook is very useful if you like to setup and maintain your own Strats. Its got alot of adjustment, maintenance, and repair tips plus basic info on different Strats. One interesting part is the "Case Studies" section in which the author disects and describes a '54 Custom Shop RI, a '57 and a '74 Vintage RI, a Chinese and an Indonesian Squire, a Mexican Fat Strat, a CS Eric Clapton, a Japenese 50th Anniversary, and a 2005 Amerian Series Strat. He also writes about famous Strat players and their guitars such as Jeff Beck, Clapton, SRV, and Buddy Holly among others. There are also tons of photos of all these guitars in case you are like me and love to look at Strats. :)

I've never played a CP Strat but I have heard good things about them. According to the specs that '60s model has the '69 pickups. Everybody seems to really like the sound of that particular set. The bridge looks interesting too as it appears to be a modern two point style with vintage bent steel saddles on it. I've never seen that before.
I guess it depends on what your looking for in a guitar on whether or not you should trade your Highway One for it. Maybe you can save up for it and just buy it. You never can have enough Strats. :D Anyway, let us know what you decide and post some pics if you go for it.

Russ
