Cmon what are you guys doing to me.After coming off of the worst GAS attack in my life I have to see this. i have had a G.A.S. attack as well.

The cure - for me - try to bounce from one thing to another so your forced to learn and research instead of spend and aquire.

for instance, make your mission to build a guitar, next build an amp. you need to take a break to advance your knowledge of parts and skillset to build it. I like to get technical with it, that slows me down from killing my bank account. It also, in the long run, teaches me how to maintain my equipment, because the luthiers around here are either shiesty or hella busy (the good ones).

i would recomend setting up a punching bag. sometimes the frustration of it can really get to you. It's better to knock the crap out of that punching bag than throw your failing project across the room. cause it seems like the next day you have the solution anyway.

I do the same. Not to slow my spending but just to dig into it while my allowance builds...
