I have a 2004 American Strat.
I recently aquired a 2009 Tremelo Bridge Assembly.
They are both the 2 point style and was wondering if I could just switch them out?
The new assembly came with its own claw, screws, springs and pivot pins.
Do I really need to switch all that out, or just the block?
Most of the other stuff looks identical so a quick string change and I can have the newer block.
Is it that simple?
This is mainly a cosmetic change since I like the look of the newer bent steel saddles.
