Or as some say, the kickstand or talent lever? :?

I like 'em and use them, but don't do much over-the-top diving.

No crazy diving or rock-star whistles, but I use mine all the time as a true vibrato.

Yep. Use mine all the time - like Slap Chop.. Discrete tasteful use only. As Leo laboured long and hard to come up with the best trem design of it's time (and properly set up it's still good), the least I can do is use it. Especially as I've paid for it!

If I do fancy a full on-trem wig out, then I'll reach for my Charvel which was designed for that sort of.. expression..

I use it for true vibrato only, considering it's a Bigsby on my Gretsch Country Gentleman! When the new strat arrives i think it will be the same. I am too set in my ways to go wiggling that bar around to much...

Being brought up a Gibson player for most of my guitar-hood, I never used trem at all. Then - late in guitar life - I switched to Strats. I went through a phase where I experimented quite a bit with it, and used it alot. However, I came to the conclusion that (for me) I play better without it. I can do tremelo-like effects without it that have a lot more expression. Bottom line: I am in a better "guitar space" without it, along with no tuning issues, either. However, I have contemplated breaking it out to learn some Jeff Beck trem techniques - he uses trem in the most beautiful, subtle ways like no other person on the planet.

Hardly ever use it. One reason I have the trem set next to the body of my guitar. The exception being my DG.

I rarely use mine.
I do use the heal of my palm to push on the bridge sometimes though.

As I play The Shadows Music I use it constantly; so I keep it in my left hand almost all the time.

There's no Lenny or Little Wing either without it.

Do you have very long tremolo arm?

I use mine quite a bit...Like many others i don't do the dive bomb thing or long stretches just as Vibrato...Im a blues player and as someone else said there is a lot of songs you can't play without being versed in the use of your tremolo...Plus you just look so cool doing it..:>)
