Hi! I'm getting a MIM Classic 50s soon and will be fitting CS69s (or rather, my tech will). Does anyone know what stock volume/tone pots the Classic 50s are fitted with? I'm looking to get CTS 250K (helps eliminate noise and resistance apparently) but won't bother if they're already fitted. Thanks! :D

I'll have a look...

*running to the workshop...* (Fading footsteps is heard and then back again)

Here it is... My 50's classic fully loaded original pickguard. I always save the original when upgrading...

It has 250K CTS pots..

/G

Hi Goran: so what did you upgrade to? What's under the hood now?

Cheers - C

It's a 2002 Dakota Red '50s classic.

I built a new pickguard consisting of:
- A white perloid PG
- Fender Hot Noiseless pups
- Greasebucket tone controls

This was done in two steps, at first I didn't change the pups, but decided to do it since I didn't get along with the stock pups.

Here's some pictures of when I changed the pickguard and the saddles.

I later changed the pups and changed the bridge for a Callaham bridge.

Nice work Goran. Very, neat and tidy.
You've got a very cool website to. Love the finish on the Partscaster II.
