Woohoo! Hooray for GC Labor Day sale! I just got a flat black rosewood H1 strat for under $400 in addition to my Am Std strat. Talk about GAS attack. Anyway I think that the H1 series are fine guitars and also are the best bang for the buck for American-made Fenders.

AND MUCH BETTER THAN THE OVER RATED AMERICAN STANDARDS

Congrats on the new guitar, or is it guitars (wording is playing tricks on me). Under $400, that was a deal.

Sorry, I meant to say in addition to the Am Std. strat that I purchased about 2 weeks ago. Hoo boy, being a guitarist is an expensive hobby.

As a H1 owner myself, I can honestly say that I disagree with you, strat2004.

Please respond in uppercase letters only - and mention how wrong I am - so I can join the 2 or 3 club, as I hear there's a secret handshake, and even a ceremonial tee-shirt that you get, once you join.

:D

I wanted to get the Daphne blue but strat2004 said it costs $2k which is a far cry from my $400 H1 strat and the private owners are not willing to sell them.

Kidding aside, I want to post pics of my H1 soon. It's time to start modding!

I'm just being cheeky!

I'm a big fan of the H1 Strat, but I haven't seen anything that conclusively proves you right. I haven't seen anyone say a bad word about the H1 model - it seems to attract universal praise, in fact.

Hey.....you said I wasn't right! Does that mean I'm in the club now?
