Read over YouTube that they're going to be discontinued soon. Anyone can confirm this?

The Highway One is a great Fender guitar but I have never liked the name. Hope it is discontinued it will become collectable and the name will never be created again.

Highway One is a California icon and a national treasure. I love the name as much as I love the road itself. Read more about this great road at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_State_Route_1

I agree. Highway One is these most scenic highway route in California. It travels along pretty much the entire coast of California. Great drive to San Francisco from San Diego. Traveled that Highway One many times.

I love the highway one….I don’t own one simply because there is a small verity of colors to choose from and I hate that.. I do love the oversized headstock….. if they discontinue them I may have to suck up hating the colors and get one anyway…..

I really liked tha name, and the colours and the oversized headstock, but I didn't like the guitar, I think that it was more expensive because it is made in USA, than for it's quality....but there are good highway ones :)

ha ha ha! I was too lazy to remove the stickers off. The guitars that have stickers on are the ones I purchased on GAS, and are usually seldom played and are in the case and stored in the closet. So I never got around removing the stickers.

The highway 1 is not for everyone, but I have one and absolutely love it. I have heard rumors of its discontunuation. It's a shame but nothing lasts forever.

Well, if you leave them on too long, be sure to report back to us if anything funny happens. I've heard that if you don't take them off, they can "chemically" merge with the pickguard (somehow) over time and make some kind of mess when you do try to take them off.

At the best, you could end up with "tan lines" in the shape of the stickers on the clear plastic.
