first depends in your taste. some people rise the angle of the bridge beacuse they want to have more options with the vibrato or tremolo. There is a posibility of a tension between the bridge and neck. You can check this by looking at the curve of the neck (if the angle goes too far to one side or the other). with this you can´t have correct intonation. Thats main reason why the bridge rises.

So are you saying thay you cant have the bridge flat against the body? I don't want the floating action. Almost like a Hardtail.

hi, i didn´t say that. You can have the bridge flat against the body by two ways: 1) calibrate the guitar or 2) Put an extra tensor in the bridge or block the bridge like eric does.
