Took some strats out of the closet. Some are obvious G.A.S purchases as indicated by the tags still on them. I have a more, but these are what I have on hand at the moment. I really need to seek G.A.S anonymous.

The white strat is my recent purchase today. Got it for $985 out the door from Guitar Center. All of the strats are Americans, except for two that are MIM roadworns.

These are my American Standards, white being the latest purchase of G.A.S  The black is a 2006 model. It has the older bridge saddles.

I notice you have a VG strat... What made you buy it? I'm only curious because I thought they were over priced and couldn't justify buying one

I got the VG strat when they were blowing them out for $999, but I got it for $750 out the door with fender HSC :D I like it not because of the price I paid, but the different sounds I can get with it. It is really the most fun strat to play. I often use the baritone tuning settings and the 12 string acoustic settings.

The strat I play the most, or would be considered the number one strat, is the 2007 Higway one strat. That is the sunburst strat on the bottom or the foreground of the pic next to the deluxe sunburst strat.. I changed the pickups for a set of CS69. What a great sound that pickup has indeed. The highway one is really an under rated strat, plays like butter to me.

That is really an awesome collection! I got a VG marked down as well and I love it.

As far as looks, I think I like your newest the best.

Thanks andyreich. I got lucky to get that color as it seems that particular color is a hot seller at guitar center. It would be sold as soon as they get one in.

OK we are running neck and neck on the GAS attack. But please take the stickers off the guitars.Another year or two you are going to have a $@!&* of a time getting them off the pickguard. If that happens hears a lil trick use lighter fluid. Take the pick guard off and wipe it down with lighter fluid and it will get off the most cemented on guards.

Thanks for the heads up. I was too lazy to take them off, as they are hardly played and are in the case most of the time. I never knew that those stickers will become harder to remove.
