I am not fond of the vintage style saddles. I wish another strat was in my budget But I have enough of em. I have my eye on a 2007 tele deluxe in sienna burst

Well, I got another G.A.S attack and during my lunch break I went to my local GC and purchase an Olympic White with maple fingerboard for $985 out the door with Fender HSC and all the case candies. I also have the $100 rebate, so all together I got it for $885 Will post pics when I get home.

Dude I know what you mean but when they go on sale like the ones you got, it's tough to turn it down. I did the same thing and pulled the trigger on the MF Fender Friday deal today.

FYI....MF has that Tele Deluxe in that color for $999 now!

My other guitar is a Strat.

Wow small world. The $994 price is for all GC from my understanding. I've called Pasadena, Hollwyood, Sherman Oaks and even Covina as I was hunting down a Olympic White with Maple Fingerboard. Luckily Northrdige happens to have one still in the box when I called them, and they happen to be near where I work. I guess I'm luckiy due to the fact I live nearby the Sherman Oaks and Hollwyood Guitar Center and work nearby the Northrdige GC.

Yes, I agree, not too much people shopping at the Northridge store as there is also a Bestbuy store nearby that sells Musical Instruments and Electronics.

I know some people at all the GC I go to. I don't recall your friend Paul, but I do remember two Assistant Managers in the guitar dept that I get very good deals from, Dave C. and Kevin R. Now, I work with Olan and the Store Manager Stacey.

At the Sherman Oaks store, I like to work with Bryan L. I learned over the years, that you get better deals when you work with the assitant managers, as they can often times override the system to give you better deals
