I think he's most famous for playing Goldtop Les Pauls.

No, really?

I thought he was strictly a lap steel player...

On which: howsabout a Fender Gilmour Sig Lap Steel? How many takers would there be for that?

Welcome, but your spelling is wrong, as you've probably noticed, but don't let that stop you from posting, we're a good bunch here.

Now, if you're meaning a Happy (Adam Sandler) Gilmore Strat....

Absolutely right.

BTW: I notice that whether you type David Gilmour or Gilmore into the "search" box on the products page you get "no matching products found".

The Gilmour Sig is right there - but you could easily search without finding it.

Anyhow. Anyone know when Dave started his habit of drinking extra bitter lemonade just before taking a solo?

Ceri, you have to go to the Custom Shop page to find the Gilmour. When you click on products the CS page is on the red bar above the search box.

Hi Hop: for sure. I'm just supporting Mike in encouraging john4473 not to feel silly for not finding that guitar, even if he looked hard. Mike's post made me realise this thread could seem a bit of a rough ride for a first time poster. We know we're a friendly lot - we want john4473 to know that too (I'm obviously addressing him more than you with that).

By the way, Hop: have you seen ZZDoc around recently? Perhaps I've just been looking in the wrong direction...

Cheers - C

I understand Ceri. Yes we want everyone to know we are a friendly and helpful bunch.
Come to think of it I have not seen a post from Doc in a few days now. I thought I was just missing them. My computer was in the shop recently. I'm going to check his last post.

Cool 8) I would hate for john4473 to get the idea we're not a friendly group.

Regarding the good Doc, he was on last night in the Lounge (LP thread), but haven't heard much from him today on the forum.
