The one on the right is my #1.

Here is a pic showing a close up of the finish.

This is the best guitar I have ever owned. It was the 6th guitar to join my collection. I have added like 10 (and sold off 2) since then and it is still the best. Believe it or not, I bought this baby for $400!!! 1989 Strat Plus Deluxe. 2 piece ash body and Gold/Silver/Blue lace sensor pickups (obviously the Blue was a replacement as it is not as aged as the others). The Wilkenson nut was replaced with the LSR roller but. I have not made any changes (expect the sticker). It is exactly the way I bought it. It will be tattooed on my right tricep in about a month or two.

Nice..! What do we call that, Mocha Burst? I really like the Strat Plus and Deluxe series in the more natural end of the finish spectrum — distinctive and not often seen.

Wow. Good timing. Looks like my wife may be throwing me out on the street, and this is the only guitar I have so it'll be going with me.

Not kidding. Don't really feel like playing right now, but I will eventually.

This is the very rare Black Burst finish. Fender only made it from like 1989-1992 I believe because it was too expensive and difficult to do. I have checked almost daily on eBay for the last 6 or 7 years and have only seen like 4 or 5 ever for sale. I am hoping to one day find a tele plus (also w/ the lace sensors) of the same color. I have only seen 1 of those but it had a rosewood fretboard. Not that I don't love rosewood but I love seeing matching strats and teles :D
