I love em... 57s, that is. At the height of my strat collection, I had both the sunburst and the black. The black had to go because of cash issues, but the sunburst one I got is simply amazing. Threw out those pups, but the guitar itself is just fantastic.

I like the 9.5" radius, thin skin nitro finish and the soft V neck. I didn't like the 60s model because the neck is too thick for me.

I'm a big fan. I was abouts to buy one, but I had the option of a 1969 custom shop re-issue, or one of these, and I chose the custom shop. I didn't choose the custom shop because it was better, I just liked them the same so it had to come down to what looked best to me in the end. (I like the big-headstock look).

When I next get the expensive guitar, I've already decided it'd be the 1962 re-issue Hot Rod. In-fact I'm having a go on one in a shop on Friday.

Big fan of the red with MN '57 here.
Too bad it's a bit out of my price range...

Dont like the nitro one bit. To quote justin novak 'the guitars are made to age fast'. Though i love my red 57HR, i just wish it was a durable urethane finish.

Oh well, my 57HR doesn't seem to be aging fast enough... In fact, it's hardly got any wear. Just been playing it, and tucking it a way. I've tried being less than gentle, but it seems to be holding up rather well.
