I`m getting ready to rewire my strat. Should I try the Blender pot setup?
Do people have and like it?

What kind of pot is it? Do I have to buy it from Fralin?

Also when replacing the volume and tone pots,should they both be audio or should the volume be linear?

I use it and I like it. Granted, it's not in all my Strats and I use it mostly in a totally on or off capacity for the pickup but I still find it quite useful, especially for when I'm looking for that Telecaster sound.

All the pots should be audio taper. The blender should be a 250K audio taper No-load pot.

No, you are not locked into Fralin. You can either make one yourself out of a regular port or buy a Fender No-load pot for a few dollars cheaper than Fralin.

Ideally, if you use a reverse taper 250K audio pot and make it a No-load like I do, the blend will not work counter (anti) clockwise.
