Road Worn neck adjustment

I'm fairly new to the Strat world. I just got the RW '50s Strat and it needs a few tweaks. I do all my own guitar set-ups but I've owned an electric with the truss rod adjustment at the base of the neck. Do I remove the pick guard? Do I take the neck off? Or do I loosen the neck screws just enough to make adjustments? Or is there an easy way I just do see? Noob question I know. Thanks in advance.

You can loosen the neck just enough so you can get to the truss rod adjustment screw, or you can just remove the neck entirely. No need to remove the pickguard.
