Here's a couple of pics of my Strats. I hope this works.

The first one is a 1987 Squier strat that was my first guitar.


The second one is a 1988 Strat Plus. I bought both of these guitars new and they are all original.

I almost NEVER see '88s in Pewter Mist anymore! you should hold on to that sucker. you're looking at a valuble piece of fender material there. does it have sprezels or Schallers? if sprezels, it is even rarer!

It's schallers.
I haven't seen too many Pewters myself, and the few I have seen had maple fingerboards. I've always preferred the feel of rosewood.
