Just putting this out there. Im looking on craigslist and such for a 50's MIM reissue strat neck. I played a roadworn the other day, and although I'm not interested in buying one, I really loved the neck. Not the worn part (although that was alright), but the 7 1/4" radius with the 6105 fretwire and the V profile. Im going to replace the neck on my strat and was planning on getting warmoth to make me one, but figured I could get away with a used neck with a refret, and not have to wait a month and a half. So if anyone has anything they're looking to get rid of, shoot me an offer.

This may be a stupid question, but have you checked ebay yet? I've gotten some great deals on necks off of there.

I have, everything Ive seen is being sold for way more money than they're worth. A guy wants $400 for MIM neck, I can pick up whole guitar a year old for the same money. All the necks that aren't too much are mighty mite, which im not interested in.

I'm looking to put a well timed bid on a 96 50th anni mex strat neck and body. I only want the body. If it happens i'll sell you the neck for half what i pay for both, no more that £51.50

I am going to ask a stupid question here........If the Mexico factory was not built until the 80's how can you get a 50's MIM neck? MIM's were not built until the 80's....right?

50's style. 7.25 radius, vintage heighth frets, ect. The 50's roadworn has it , as do the classic player 50's models. 8) Mike

'Cept that they aren't MIA, they are MIM.

I don't know if they make any V-shaped necks in Mexico, however.
