Thanks for your post. I ended up calling MF and I'll post the price.

The Shepherd strat is $499 with gigbag. Your choice of color. If you are into Stevie Ray, this is the next best alternative to the actual SRV strat at a much lower price.

I saw KWS a month ago and he was awesome.As far as the comparison of the SRV and KWS strat, the SRV has dunlop 6105 frets , texas special pickups and a pao ferro fretboard which is quite a bit different, plus a left handed tremolo.Quite a different guitar IMO.

I feel your pain.I presently have 3 guitars and was planning on getting rid of one and after playing it yesterday, i was reminded why i wont part with it.
