I actually do have a Crate that our Ukulele player uses all the time. It's the Crate Limo (battery powered). Best portable amp made in my opinion. I recently upgraded the battery and it lasts between 10-12 hrs. 2ch. Inst-line, mic-line, effects, 50-watts. Great for a solo acoustic act. I played a gig on a beach in Mexico where there was literally no power.

Acoustic instruments really sound good with it. A Ukulele has a very low output pickup in it and it's hard to get one to cut through a mix. But the Limo cuts it through just fine. Better than a DI in a lot of cases.

The intent of the OP probably didn't have this amp in mind. But I had to give it my props. I love my Crate Limo amp.
