What's wrong with the narrow frets?

They were ON Strats when Buddy and Hank and Gene and the great surf pickers were playing. Personally, 'rather like them on the MIM Surf Green 50s model. It is a sweet, hip guitar.

Nothing wrong with them, nothing wrong with the monster huge things they call frets on the newer hwy-1 series either, I just don't like them.

its just personal preference, most likely based on what I'm used to.

Its more about the radius anyway.

Hey don't hate me cause I'm pretty !!!!

This thread is useless without pics, eh? Okay, I admit it. I'm a Surf Green addict, too. I saw a Surf Green Classic Series 50s Strat in a local independent guitar shop last summer and G.A.S. overwhelmed me in a hurry. It had to be mine.

I swapped the original pickups for a set of SCNs and it sounds as good as it looks. I would be seriously tempted by a Surf Green American Standard with those specs, though. Count me in. :)
