I wish I, upon making pure noise like that, would receive that kind of adulation from those who hear it but moreover, the kind of money he gets for doing it.

You do both understand that the audio in that video is looped, right? That it's not Clapton playing, and that the person who created this believes that it can be considered "humor?"

I've seen links to dozens of these things on other forums, and I still can't figure out why they're supposed to be funny.

Honestly and truly, I fell for it. I don't know how, but I did. I must have been having one of those ever increasing, "senior moments".

I very much enjoy EC feel and, while I did not listen to that specific one, I do ffind these dubbed over videos quite humorous, I agree though that it gets old pretty quickly. If you don't get it then that's OK too, no worries....

That's hysterical. I was falling for it for a few seconds, but once I heard him break into "Enter Sandman" out of nowhere I cracked up.

I fell for it for around 10 or 15 seconds until I realized what was really going on. A two minute and 11 sec video took me 18 minutes to view because I was laughing so hard I could not hear the sound over my belly laughs and had to keep pausing.

Half of me has to agree with SlapChop, it aint really funny to do that to the GREAT Clapton………..But the other half of me is sore from deep belly laughing. LMMFAO

It's not that I don't "get it." (There's nothing to get.) And I don't think it's not not funny because someone's sacred ox is being gored.

It's because it's the humor-n-music equivalent of sticking french fries up your nose.
