To get the Buddy Holly sound tone use as clean as possible which may even reuqire turning the bass almost off on amp and the mids turned almost off too. This will give you the classic fifites clean snappy bite sound, Ive been experimenting in it this week and used the technique on a couple of my songs on youtube check it out i recorded real clean and wanted that Buddy Holly sound also the song is called well its at the top of my channel vinnypop titles
vinny pop sounds like elvis presley I sound like an assssss but listen to the guitar sound hope this helps you and ps use no distortion what so ever.

Vinny, you really are devoid of any sense of irony, aren't you? :?

Man, that guy Keith Richards from the Rolling Stones really parties hard. At this rate he'll never make it to the 70's

I think we might see a thread along the lines of-

"How are we doing this?"

or

"What is this keyboard & screen thing in front of me?"

But if the internet is assumed to have existed and be normal-

"I'm selling my Strat and buying one of these cool Swingers"
"The Strat is dead" (Posted pre-Hendrix)
"A three bolt neck? Like that will ever happen!"

Crisis,crises...by accident my little son found some sandingpaper lying around, and he used it on my brand new sunburst '62 Stratocaster..front,back..you name it..
What can be done to restore..I was thinking about selling, but,hey..
who will ever be stupid enough to buy a guitar that looks severely worn..yeah..that'll be the day. (cool tune btw)
