How can we be two places at once, when we are really no place at all?

"I have a Sunburst '57 Strat. Do you think it'll ever be worth anything, or should I swap it for a nice Teisco I've seen?

"By the way, I'm thinking of getting my Strat refinished - or just painting it myself with household paint. What color do you recommend?"

"You must mean the old Same place, sonny."

Do you think the Fender price increase is fair?

I'm looking to buy a new Stratocaster because I like the new, large headstock with the new, big, bold lettering and modern writing. They also redesigned the pickguards too: They are now thicker with black piping in the middle and have 11 screw holes vs. the one on my Stratocaster which has that thin, single, warped white pickguard with the 8 holes.

The new, black case they come with now is cool too. They have the new, modern writing Fender signature metal plate on it just like they have on their new amps. Truth be told, I was getting tired of that dirty looking, tan case of mine.

Hopefully, I can sell my current Strat for $75 and then, I'll only have to come up with another $200.

"Fender Broadcaster for sale. 85.00 with case. very clear, with one or two dings. saving up for a new Stratocaster like that Jimi Hendrix guy plays."

^Man, I'd snatch that up in a heartbeat.

I can't wait until Fender comes out with some solid-state amps. That's the future, man. No more of these old-timey tubes for this guy! 8)
