For me it will be a Fender, but can't decide the one I want.

Here are my influences

Green Day
Jimi Hendrix
John Mayer
Red Hot Chilli Peppers
SRV
Smashing Pumpkins
Billy Talent

I want to play Mainly Blues-rock and Punk-rock/Alt.Rock.
I own a Vox AC4TV

A Stratocaster would be a wise choice, I love Strats.

The thing is, I made the mistake to try the Jim Adkins Telecaster.
It felt incredible. I would buy it, but there is one thing.

I don't think I'll be able to get that Mayer/Hendrix/SRV tone out of the neck pickup. I really need to nail that tone.

Do you have any advice for me ?

I'd get a strat. Either an MIA, or maybe an MIM with a pickup change, if you want to get higher gain.

I'd also look at that amp. 80% or more of the tone will come from your amp. Your amp is not that great dude. It's a small practice amp and you're not going to get mega-boutique sounds from an amp like that, so don't expect them no matter what guitar you play though it.

I reccommend a Hwy1 HSS and get some Texas specials in the middle and neck position

Yes that is true, my influences are very fragmented. That's why I have such an hard time making my mind.

About that making your own sound, I like that.

I think I will buy the Jim Adkins Telecaster and later buy a Stratocaster, probably a Deluxe Player.

Music is all about feelings, and you've got to go with the guitar you love the most. And maybe I can get a pretty good tone from both pickups.
With two volume knobs, when you select both pickups you can have many different tones.

Now that's how you decide on what to get.. You have to go with your gut feeling, and it seems like you can't get that guitar off your mind. Nothing worse than regretting not going with your initial gut feeling. I personally think you'll be much happier with this choice.

Keep in mind, you can always modify pickups in the future as well (like maybe when the warranty expires).

I think you should get some sort of '60s Strat. Either an American 62 vintage reissue or a Mexican Classic 60s.

If I had to choose a guitar within my price range it would be this one, no doubt.

I live in Quebec, Canada so can't buy a fender from the U.S. and I want to buy at my local music store. They sure don't have that model :x

With the Vox AC4TV I can really get that vintage blues sound and get a great, and I mean GREAT rock - punk-rock sound from the bridge.

Rock on :P
