I remember seeing that "toilet seat" guitar (or one like it) at Manny's in NY back in the 70's.

I always enjoy these kind of things--a lot of the same ones pop up--but there's usually a new one or two.

That second harp guitar--with two bodies going opposite ways--was in Guitar Player magazine's "Miss Off the Wall" contest way back in the 80's.

And what about this? I've seen Jose Neto play this nylon string electric several times: the difference from most of those on this thread is that it isn't a gimmick - that's his regular instrument. Ugly, ain't it? He's a nice player, though:
