Hi DAS4444: I'm probably overlooking it, but I don't see a mahogany bodied Strat in the catalog at the moment. Can you point me towards it, please?

Or is this a pre-owned Strat you are talking about?

Anyhow. I have a Strat with a mahogany body, as it happens. No doubt the timber makes a difference - but it's a very small one. It has a solid finish so you can't tell the wood by looking at it. I'd defy you to pick it out from my other Strats just by listening to them.

I think the pickups contribute far more to the contrasting sounds of my Strats - so far as my ears are concerned, at least.

Cheers - C

I saw one recently but I don't remember where.

They were a FSR. Those things don't make it into the catalogs, you know.

FSR, huh? That explains it: thank you.

I did find one listed on GC sight.... althoughthte one i seen there was listed at $1599....on the web sight it is listed at $1349....but in answer to the question...Its a MIA Deluxe all be told (I was thinking on getting one)...its a nice guitar.....but as with all guitars no two are the same......you need to play it and see how you feel about it.
