Hi everyone!
This is my first post here!

Im trying to buy this guitar... The guy says its an american deluxe strat.
Can you confirm this with just these pics...
And compared to the 60th anniversary strat edition? what do you think about this guitar? Is it a good buy?
Serial number is N569268.

There's no way to know for sure whether it's real from these two photos alone. Looking at the serial number it looks pretty legit and people usually don't bother counterfeiting models unless they're really gonna bring in big bucks.

Ask him to take a picture of neck's tongue? I wouldn't be too worried about authenticity on this guitar though like I said. Looks pretty sexy too. :) I'm sure you'll love it if you get it. Is this your first American Strat?

Hi Berennem, welcome to the Forum.

Very hard to see in that little picture, but the bridge don't look right. Is it a Wilkinson VS-100 in brushed chrome, I wonder?

If so, it's a nice bridge, but I don't believe Fender have ever used that model so that at least is not stock.

We need a look at the heel and neck plate. That'll tell us a lot...

Cheers - C

PS The serial number says it's made in the Corona factory 1995 or '96. That's all the info you'll squeeze out of that number...

I agree with above comments and would add that a 12/13 yr old guitar might need some attention to the frets, so make sure not worn to bad!

Miami Mike hello. I know this might seem bad on my part but I have never replaced frets in my life, have always played the neck till it broke or I got sick of it but have filed a couple now and then. Unconscionable Vinny Pop
