Ive been playing a wee bit- I bought a couple of books that Im learning some songs off. Relationship-Nothing to report vin, Im taking your advice- Im not going to actively go out looking, that special someone will eventually come my way. I do however have a fancy for a nice olive skinned beauty I met a while back called Sonia.

Funny- I was talking to an old GF of mine the other day, Claire. we went out for a while and she was also a teenage crush I had back in school. We went on the same school bus and we also were in the same class. She had a wee crush on me but I never knew it- and I had a crush on her but I thought she was out of my league. She was very popular- whereas I hung out in the music room playing in the school band every lunchtime. We got into a relationship in the beginning 2005 after meeting up again. it lasted 18months as things didnt work out because my fathers passing became the end all of what we had. But we became VERY GOOD friends since. When we got together years ago, we fell in love and we both knew that it was going to be for a very long time. My father unexpectedly came out and told us that he had cancer for 2 years and he had been sick in the last few months. He only lived for three weeks after he told the family before he passed, which was very traumatic. Ironically, he passed away on fathers day 2005.

Anyway, getting back to the story- out of the blue she asked me "If your dad was still alive- and things went as normal, we would be married now would we?" and I said "I would have married you by now- you know that. You knew that I was going to ask you to marry me" all the while im thinking to myself- 'where on earth did that comment come from?' she then said maybe things might not have worked if we did, but I said that the basis of a marriage is that we would have worked things like that out and there are variables- but with what we had things were going in the right direction and we were in love.

The weird thing is, she is in a relationship already- all beit an unhappy one she has told me now. But I still cant help thinking why she came out with that- what a random thing to say??? :?

Good luck with the haircut mate- and Im still keen to see your finished guitars :) Good to hear Mrs Vinnypop has you under control too mate.. I think she wants you and your mate to spend time with your wives... Women eh- they just dont get why we love guitars soo much :P

Hey blerties, after reading many of your posts you seem to have your head on straight. So when I say that girl sounds like trouble, I am sure its not the first time the thought crossed your mind. Most of us have either been in your position, or the position of the poor guy who's being replaced behind his back, if that makes sense? Play with fire, get burned...

Anywho, hows that deluxe treatin ya? You should bestow another pic of that thing here in vinny's place, to give vin and myself a bit of stimulation! :D

Which lonely boy are you smackin? Whats up Vinny? I am just sittin at work. Are they pushing alien related tv shows over there in aussie land? Seems like every show here in the states is related to e.t.'s in one way or another. Movies as well! Very interested to say the least!
Take care,
J

Thanks for keping your Lonely Boy logo going Blerties, thats interesting about your friend not being happy as MOST OF US are not happy in our relationships unless your the Brady Bunch. I sense a love between you 2 that may blossom again by what you say but I think it all depends on who dumped who when your dad passed away. Would you really marry her if she split from her current relationship Blerties ? Am having major problems building my guitars, I need to slow down and think clearly about parts quality and pricing.

Thants the thing vin, we drifted apart and in the end it got to a point where we called it a day. I drove the final nail in the coffin when I told her I needed to get out of the country for a while as I couldnt take the stress of the estate settlement and my 'other' family on dads side argueing. I went straight to the UK alone and then to Europe, then went back down to Melbourne, Brisbane and then further up Queensland to Mackay before coming home to Auckland f0or Xmas. I was a lost soul after Dad passed, I had no sense of myself and I had to escape from the madness. When I got back 3months later- her heart had moved on.

I would definatly be there for her if things went belly up for them, but not on the intention of getting back with her. She knows I care and I know she cares too. Im not sure about the marrying part but I would be very faithfull and loyal to her heart. Its not everyday your teenage crush comes to you somehow- thats why we thought it was very special.

I know what your saying- but I have to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Heres a couple of pics-

This one is Jimi Hendrixes old 67-69 V. It sits at the Hard Rock Cafe in London- note the ebony board, inlays and the gold hardware. I nearly j**zed my pants when I was asked if I wanted to have a photo holding it :)Image

Hey Vinny, Hey Blertles!

Good to see you boys - hope all is well! Vinny - hows the folks doing? Blertles - leave the door open with the gal - you never know where life will lead you...

Hey Blertles, thanks for the visual stimulation. As for my last post, I'm afraid I missed the full story. Maybe I should read a bit more before chiming in next time.
Take care as always

Gday RickyD blaaaaaa and twaaaaaaaaaaaaa folks are up and down this week , its a rough one...Vinny Pop grits his teeth and as Christ did SERVES his parents and all around him...........YES A NEW REVELATION FOLKS
Every Christian Church you see around you is an organised cult into life control and money stealing. Ive just realised the true church is EVERYONE around you. The point comes in everyones life where you sacrifice yourself for someones good or you dont. Blaaaaaaaaaaaaaa and twaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa NO APPOLGIES for capturing Vinny Pop in a spiritual moment.

Blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa and Twaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.... Sorry folks, I had that one building up and it just popped out without warning

Thanks for your kind comments guys..
If your ever in London, visit the Hard Rock. That pic was taken in the guitar museum. I have a suspicion that Clapton has his finger in the Hard Rock Pie. The V was extraordinary. You will see one of Cobain's Jazzmasters, Les Paul's custom les paul, Keith Richards tele, and one of Steve Jones Guitars I think, also one of Elvis's costumes also.

Vin, I knew youd come back mate- thats why I have been flying the lonely boy flag while you've been gone mate :)

G'day RickyD and Wood- nice to talk to you boys :) Hey is anyone here on Facebook?
