Isn't it great how both our Prime Ministers are good mates- they have a silly bet when the games on and the loser has to wear a tie in the opposing teams colours?

Hello niki racehorse blerties woody87 and all here tonight this morning may your day be full of life and good thoughts and great strat guitar playing. Blerties if I ever meet a nice single woman who wants to meet a nice man I will give her and you the emails, I think I know your type she has to be intelligent honest loyal loving and presentable. Just caged a couple of rats and have tied them up with their asses hanging over one of my strat bodies to poo on them, as yet nothing, they must know I need their faeces to give me the worn out look. They start soon OR ELSE NO FOOD am I cruel please dont tell ANYONE what Vinny Pop is doing I may be arrested. Just drifted back 35 years a split second ago, I smelt the aroma of a guitar part I am working on and it brought me back to 14 years of age when I first destroyed my first electric bass body when I stripped it and smothered it in too much gloss lacquer, it was the smell hahahahhahahaha smell is a time capsule just like a song or a perfume or a word...do you believe me ? hmmmmmmmmmmm I need to make time for my music too cant build guitars all day can I. Trauma thankyou for your inspirational stuff mate I read it all and swallow it like water, you are truly indeed a great motivator and look forward to your Trauma Beach Tv Show on ustream.com next week ?.

The recording of the Hope Jail album would have to rank as the most difficult and greatest achievement of Vinny Pop. It all started one day after finding my car tyres flat at work at the jail. Then hearing some inmates singing as they worked it occurred to me that something positive can come of this. The first thought was that its too much work and it will never get off the ground. I then managed to score a meeting with all the high ponchos one day and spoke like a politician but truthfully and after consideration they agreed. Over 3 months were spent at lunch hours and weekends lugging equipment in and out of the jail WITHOUT PAY blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa . Yes it was daunting and at times frightening but Vinny Pop was given full access to most areas. Auditioning the members to be involved was difficult as you can imagine dozens of people wanting to sing play write. I did involve as many as possible finding jobs such as lyric witers, a personal secretary, roadies. At one point an officer said to me '' How you got away with this is unbelievable, this is a jail '' Near the end of the recordings and rehersals trouble came. An aboriginal inmate with a walking stick asked for some shoes as he was always wearing thongs and they were old and hardly anyone visited him. So I gave him my shoes and he gave me his sandals.
On my return to work in the office ( I should have gone home and put on another pair ) my boss a head screw asked '' where are your shoes? ''
I should have lied but didnt. h then said I trafficked in jail and wanted me to report to the head of the jail, I refused. This went on for 2 weeks until he finally cracked and I was brought to the head. Technically I didnt traffic in jail as they were my own shoes but they threw me out of jail within the hour. Then I was sent to work in head office and was interogated twice by the jail police and tape recorded too. The inmate fell severly sick and a few days later the jail police dropped off my shoes at my desk hahahaha what a joke. At that point the album was in great trouble virtually halted but fortunately all the songs were recorded and I could mix them at home.
I thank the department for being merciful to me as I could have been sacked. A few weeks later I became friends with the department band master who assisted me in fifnishing off the Hope album and he even signed me up to his section Public relations. People couldnt believe how I bounced back and escaped a major charge. the public relations people then paid for the cds to be printed and then I approached Warner Chappel Music for some money and publicity. They signed up the album and then it was easy after that to get major media coverage. Soon after all the hype and fanfare my computer system at work crashed and I was given the job of re entering all the data which drove me half insane. The guys involved in the album all got reduced sentences. Our first gig when they were released was at this hotel and the place was packed. But trouble soon started when the publican noticed a lot of their friends spiking their drinks with little bottles hidden in their jackets hahahhahaa they didnt want to buy drinks but it was a great gig.

1988 was an incredible year for me one that defined and changed my life forever. It started with the ufo encounter then my divorce, then the death of my girl friend, the '' blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted '' ten days later after the funeral. Around the end of the year I performed with my brother and after the concert I stuck around the little cafe as bro went home and was approached by a man ? middleastern very good looking long black hair. He liked our sound and said he had come to a few of my concerts. He came home with me after offering me some relaxants which I have given up now. When we got to my place I noticed his teeth which were like sharks teeth. I got him to open his mouth and saw 2 layers upper and lower of vampire teeth so he had 4 layers of these and they were REAL. He then came out with it that he worked for a big media organisation and investors and would sign me up and make me famous. After asking him some questions he revealed that the organisation was headed by rich satanists who were heavily involved in mega projects all over the world ranging from magazines movies music everything. My hair began to stand on end and he then told me
'' I know you are a Christian but you are the missing piece we have been looking for '' I replied " I am from the other side I can never join you ''
This was 1988 and he revealed '' commencing in the early ninties we will be releasing all manner of media comprising of violence sex and religion all blended in '' '' Why '' I asked. '' To corrupt the minds of the young and bring chaos to the world. He recounted that he was born into it as his parents were heavily into this group of business people and regularly held coverns and all manner of disgraceful meetings of which I cannot even mention here what they do. He was very arrogant and cocky and was trying to force me to join up. At that point I said '' You need to get out before its too late... noone can fight God '' He started to cry and said he cannot escape its too late for him. He caught a cab home and a few days later called me as I was silly enough to give him my phone number and said he was leaving for Europe and wanted me to come with him and his people and start recording my first album. I refused and never heard from him again. Have you ever seen movies where the devil offers desperate musicians the world ? It happened to Vinny Pop but what he recounted and what is happening now in the media is very true and disturbing.

That one took courage to write so I am really really and double really going to reflect on it and deflect hahahahahhahahahahaha twaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa and blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa hello world its Friday night here in Aussie and Vinny Pop land. have laid the last gloss lacquer on the Aria and hope it works this time, have been fighting runs and spills need to get this baby ready for sale a 1972 Aria les paul black beauty. This is a fine guitar sorry I am talking about it on a Fender site. These Vintage Arias also known as law suit guitars have great low and mid sounds very fat and warm and the lead sound isnt too bad either. Hope this will be my first sale of a guitar on ebay. So how is everyone ? Vinny Pop the artist needs to get another song happening and hopefully signed up somewhere, I cant just sit back and enjoy the whale song, I seem to be good at songs for causes but I dont know which and what cause to write and sing record about. Havent heard from Sam Leach in a while hope he is ok. Last we spoke he was about to work on the release of his life story with The Beatles a movie but that seems a bit slow for him. I just read they are about to release the Brian Epstein life story movie.

Remarkably, despite the mention of a UFO encounter, the most amazing thing to me about Vinnypop's last few posts has been the mention of "High Ponchos".

Oh, and I got my new Highway One Strat.

If Vinny has no objections, I'd like to name my new axe "Lonely Boy Jnr" in honour of the original Stratocaster.

It's not too heavy, but it isn't as light as my old 70's one (which had an ash body).

It's comfortable to play, and the neck is extremely thin, which I prefer. I'd recommend the Highway One to anybody who finds the necks too chunky on the American Standard models (as I do).

It has tone controls on the neck and bridge pups only (none on the middle), and is wired so that when you're in the "in between" positions it acts as a humbucker (reverse polarity middle pup). I like it a lot!

:D
