Things are heating up on the ebay auction of the Last Memento of The Beatles Publishing Business title: I am being accused by idiots of being a scam artist and that my item is fake, I aired their questions to be seen as not afraid and honest and have tonight delivered the killer blow to all of them. I found the newspaper story of 2004 where Rowan Ayers was interviewed by The Daily Telegraph December 2004 authenticating it and stating that The Beatles did in fact give it to him and that he later asked them to sign it which was in January 1970, so hopefully that will shut them right up and make them look like a pack of miserable gooses.

$21,000,000....I see the price has gone up a little! If you sell it.......vinnypop strats for Trauma, Blertles, Fhopkins, Nikininja, Frantic, Twelvebar.....then we start the Vinnypop's........travel all over the world playing what we want.......have everyone we meet on our journey sign our axes....you know Clapton, Mayer, Richards, McCartney and then in twenty more years we make the Vinnypop movie......auction the rights for millions upon millions...then after we all get knighted by the Queen Mum............We buy an Island and retire....WHAT SAY YOU MEN!

hahahahahaha Trauma the wicked world is trying to destroy my dream. Yes Ive upped the price a little because originally the rights were for just plates but now after coping all this $@!& on ebay I decided to sell the rights to any products, maybe a rich shiek or Jennifer Anniston, if she buys it maybe Braf Pitts will come back to her and leave Angelina baby to carry all those kids. And yes with that kind of money Vinny Pop world will grow and blossum and maybe I might adopt a brew of kids toooooooo OMG I have no little Vinny Pops , the world needs a Vinny Pop in each generation.

Hello all! Hope everyones doing spectacular. I just got news that a new guitar store is opening in my area and may be interested in my services. Its a small store, not a mega chain like the GC type and I would love to work there as my job right now is just a stop gap deal because I have been laid off twice in the last year. My current job is somewhat boring although it pays okay so if the guitar store can offer a bit of dosh I will take it. That is if they offer me the job at all. I go for an interview tomorrow morn. I can't wait. Wish me luck fellow Stratheads. I'm off to eat dinner. Be back shortly to discuss this Custom Vinnypop Strat I'm reading bits about.

Hey Russ. Small local stores are what grow into Manny's (rip  ) or even sam ash. Nothin ever started big and lasted.

All the best mate. Grab a cold one and smoke a prawn, its time to celebrate

Nick, don't get me wrong, I don't hate the big guitar stores such as Sam Ash, GC, etc. In fact I purchased my first Strat from a GC and I am very happy with it and the service I received. Its just that I would rather work and shop at a small store where you get to know the salesmen and can sit down and jam without having a sales person on your back pushing a guitar or amp. I know they're just trying to make some money with a piece of the sale but I don't feel comfortable in those big stores with salesmen standing behind me telling me how great the guitar sounds and how perfect it would be for me. I know most of the small store's salesmen rely on comission as well, however, they are generally a bit more laid back when it comes to standing on your shoulder extolling the virtues of a ESP LTD DJ-600V when all you want is a Sienna SB American Std. Strat . I'm sure not all GC's and big guitar stores pressure you as much as the GC here does but, to be honest, I don't even enjoy visiting the GC here. Between the pressure from the salesmen and the noise produced by eight 15 year olds wailing on BC Rich's or Schecter's on wide open Line 6's, I think I will continue going to the smaller stores in my area. And maybe even get a job there!
And Thanx Nick, I've decided to sip on Johnny Walker Black Label and smoke an Ashton Prime MInister

Russ its just not like that in the uk. our false sense of snobbery leads to a customer always being right syndrome and every customer knows it.

Tell the sales people that ' yeah its gonna be the best sounding amp and guitar on the planet when your done'. If they were real team players they'd agree. After all you got their back, right?. Your the guy thats gonna bend the unbendable. Your gonna make that £150 guitar into a £200 amp sound like clapton gesticulated all over it.

Give and take mate. Meet their pressure with your own. After all they just sell the $@!&, you make it play and sound good.

I want a vinny strat, as long as its light.
