The guy sold the neck and body seperately. The neck is the Anniversary 4 bolt. The body is authentic standard strat and ive looked inside too the tremelo never thought about it but on the back it has the standard 347 or whatever it is I know its 2 guitars but I liked the anniversary neck and I think the anniversary is one of the finest necks ever made the body cost me about 1200 and the neck 800 plus 50 bucks delivery yes thats the add you are a good investigator.

Who cares? If Vinny bought it to play, he bought it to play. It doesnt really matter what he paid for it, or whether or not you think he got ripped off. Seems you've gone out of your way to prove a point though.

Regardless of what his motives for buying, its a fine instument, and im sure he loves playing it.

Thankyou Blerties the actual cost was 2200 when you add the neck but I am not toally ignorant and told him its 2 guitars and we agreed on 2000 total and 50 delivery the tremelo is a 347 thats authentic I dont understand how a 347 tremelo is not Fender it is Fender isnt it. And you havent got pic up pics but I can say they are 1980 and the soldering is all original untouched it does play superb.

If you can buy an american std and a custom shop for AU $4500, can you let me know where? I cant get hold of a new custom shop here for less than $4000 NZ- I got my am. deluxe new two years ago for AU $2000 and I thought I got a bargain.

Well i must say the last couple of posts argumentative nature have put a bit of a crimp on todays Vinny experience.

How about just forgetting it before it gets out of hand and get back to enjoying the postings of our new lord and master.

Vin, I added you on facebook mate. Really pleased you got your cash out of that rip off clown. The joker didnt know who he was messin with, or what you were capable of unleashing on him should he refuse to cough up.

Now i reckon we should get to work on the 'Holy Mother and Child - Strat'. How would we get a vision of the Holy Mother into the paintwork so that it only shows on special occasions. I.E whenever Vinny picks it up.

This thread should be sticky, nothing else is getting a look in.

Frantic we are not as fortunate in Australia to have the cheaper prices that strats go for in the USA we pay at least 1000 dearer on basically all models.
