Fair enough >_>

TU-2>>Opto Stomp>>GE-7>>CFH Wah>>CH-1>>Hush>>Delay>>Reverb

You could switch the comp and equalizer if you felt like it, same with the delay and reverb, but other than that this would be the order I would have them in >_>

Nice rig the equalizer should always go first or last not in the middle other than that its fine.

hehe I thought the cardinal rule was always tuner first.
To be fair, I would be lost at sea, I haven't used more than one pedal at a time in a decade. I used only my 80's TS-808 tubescreamer in the last gig I played, and then only for maybe 3 minutes total spread out over the whole night. I only seem to be able to get sounds I like without much aside from guitar and amp. Sometimes the boost, or a wah.

I have never been able to use multiple pedals for anything other than ruining my sound. Always kind of admired people who can make it work.

The Keeley website in the frequently asked question goes in depth about the correct way to run pedals for least amount of noise and best effect value..I ve tried to post the link twice but im getting blocked by this web site from doing so...If you want the site address send a private message and i will send the link to you

there is two proper ways to run pedals if using a straight line effects loop according to Keeley
#1 Tuner/Wah/Compressor/Overdrive,Boost/Distortion/Fuzz/Chorus/Modulation units(Ring mods/Delays/Flanger/Phaser)/EQ /amp modeler if used /Noise suppressor
#2 Tuner overdrive,boost/Distortion/Fuzz/Compressor/Wah/Chorus/Modulation units(Ring Mods/Delays/Flanger/Phasers)EQ/Amp Modeler/Noise suppressor...

If using an ABY switch the Modulation units go on one line and all others beside EQ and noise suppressor on another..The EQ and noise suppressor should be placed that they can be used with both lines..
I hope this makes sense i would still suggest going to the Keeley site..

Man i dont even like using amp reverb let alone onboard or outboard gain. Guitar - amp - speaker, thats my rig.

The basic rule regarding pedal setup is
volume
comps
time based effects like tremolo
gain
modulation
time based effects like reverb and delay.

As your tuner should shut off the signal to the amp it can go anywhere, but i'd keep it first in line to avoid modulation of notes mucking up the readings. Where you place the graphic is dependant on what you want it to do. For boost it goes in first as a volume control. For tone shaping it goes in the effects loop. Its about the only thing i will put in a effects loop. Pretty much every effect except harmonizer's and maybe reverbs were conceived to work on amps with no effects loops. I like the sound of amplifier clipped chorus and delay.

Nikininja is, of course, the expert, but I thought I should add that the basic rules mentioned here can be eminently flexible. Dropping gain in front of time-based effects and, for that matter, wah pedals, can produce some interesting tones. Hendrix, I believe, liked to use gain in front of his wah. It's a cool sound, although it's not appropriate for every type of song...

Personally I only use a wah and maybe a couple of dirt boxes and I played a gig this weekend with nothing but my Gretsch and my PJ. I think having as few pedals as possible improves the sound and makes life easier: rather than twiddling knobs all night, you can just turn up and play. While taking pains to avoid the bypass/buffer debate, I know that having a heap of effects can and will suck your tone...
