I just want to voice my opinion on all these is "this better than that" debates. All Fender/Squier Stratocasters are good instruments for what they are intended to do.

For the budget conscious the Squier line-up is the way to go. Great starter guitars for the more inexpensive models, good playing guitars for the more seasoned players that have tight budget.

As one progresses in financial stability and playing abilities, Fender is the way to go. Same as above, lower priced guitars for the more budget conscious, ect...

There is a Stratocaster model out there for anyone who is looking for one, this is why I love Fender Musical Instuments Corporation. From beginner to pro; from novice to serious modder, these instruments ROCK.

Simply put, all their guitars are good. Oh lets not forget the extended family: Jackson, Gretch, Charvel, EVH, Guild, Tacoma, De Armond, and the Starcaster Guitars.
