It never came from a dead vet whose sad daughter later sold it that was all lies in the add this man reckons unless he was fed lies from the auction house but Im sorry the owner who attacked thjis guitar after 20 years didnt totally destroy it but he did attack the guitar hahahahahhahahahahahhahahahaha

Vinny, it's all in this thread for all who can go back and read it. If you don't want what you say known don't write it. Your threats are futile my friend! Read what the other posters say it's not only me. You are the one who has acted very immature here. Telling all how famous you could have been and so desperately want to be. So , you see it is you that needs to mature my friend!

Vinny, seriously you need to speak to a professional. I hope you do and all gets back on track for you. I'm scared that you may do something irrational!

You are correct. You did not say it was worth 10k. I went back and changed that part of my post but the rest is there to be read. Sorry!

I did not post any of the above ramblings! You did! I will not post anymore about you as I don't want to be the one who sends you over the edge! I've heard about these things!

The 3 spring strats going around were not from 1953 they were part of the first 100 released early 1954 around March. I own the first strat ever made called Lonely Boy. As stated by Mr Fullerton on page 50 of the Stratocaster Chronicles only one was ever assembled with the first vibrato design and now I own it, ive named him Lonely Boy. Leo gave it to an employee as a gift after he retooled the factory again to redisgn the new bridge and tremelo system. It was then sold to an Australian musician who kept it for over 50 years, he recently passed away and I was fortunate to be able to buy it. The first strat ever made the one and only in existance as documented in the Stratocaster Chronicles page 50 and The Fender Stratocaster page 8 is now viewable at youtube on my page Vinnypop

Well this was the start of the ball of %^$@ rolling down hill and gaining miomentium. It's sad that someone would pay 6000.00 for a guitar when its obvious they don't no anything about them. And we have had a few jump on the forums with some strange tales. And to say Lonely boy was documented and then weave a tale did nothing but bring the knowledgable members to there peak of curiosity and show different.

The newest additions to this thread made my Monday evening.

My own small investigative contribution: a few minutes of scouring the iTunes store turned up something rather interesting. There is indeed an album by an artist called Vinny Pop available for the bargain price of $9.99. Bizarrely titled Golden Blue, it contains tracks entitled "Paradise," "Eyes of Gold," "You got Style" and, marvelously, "Let the Good Times Roll."

My Raskolnivok-esque level of destitution prevented me from purchasing it and being subsequently amazed by the artist's virtuosity, piety and musical reverence, but I thought I'd point out that it does, in fact, exist. Whether or not our intrepid poster is the same Vinny Pop, I can't say. Perhaps it's all an elaborate hoax, perpetrated by Vinny Pop's manager to sell more Vinny Pop records.

Perhaps its Macca's new stage name. Vulkan i wouldnt pay $10 for it either.

Heres that 58 strat for £7K. Looks ok to me. Pots and pickups look correct and the blatantly replaced E+E saddles dont lend to any kind of fakery either.

Looking at it again what do you lot think about the extra added pickguard screws? A pickguard anti warp measure? Obviously added after manufacture.

Does Sam Leach know he is your manager? I see plenty of references to this by you across the internet including pictures of Sam Leach with... Paul McCartney, but no mention from Sam Leach. This defies the typical manager/promoter to artist relationship.

He does have two clients on his page, but one is a bikini model and the link does not work while the other is a singer/dancer named Cherrie that shows Meet Geraldyn! on the window title bar when you open the link. I assume, fairly confidently, that neither is you.
