Hey guys, I have an american Strat that I bought new back around 2000. Im trying to figure out what type of strat it is(i cant remember) so I can sell it. I wanna say it was something like a fat strat or texas strat. The problem is that the guitar is at a friends house so I dont have any pictures of it and I cant remember the exact specs of it. Also the friend lives hours from me. The serial is z0025954. Anybody know? Or am I just gonna have to make the drive out to pick it up?

Sounds like you have a 2000 MIA Standard Fat Strat. Without further info can't tell much more without pics. How many pups,configuration and what kind would help.

ok, i got the guitar back and took some photos. I just want to find out which strat it is. fat strat? texas fat strat? etc. Im trying to determine how much these guitars are selling for used.

so when I try and sell it do I list it as a 2000 MIA Standard Fat Strat?
What the difference between that and a Standard Fat Strat Texas Special? Also, is it sometimes referred to as an HSS?
