How did you acquire the red guitar? I've been given to understand only black was available.

Negatory on that. I once owned a white on black and, in point of fact, the black on white which he plays (I named it "The Dalmation") caused me to inquire as to IT's availability and Consumer Relations replied that it was not.

I put a set of DiMarzio Heavy Blues pickups into that guitar. Much better than the stock MIM's.

I won't show you my Classic 60s or Highway Strats, as they're posted elsewhere.

Instead here's something different - my extensively modified Squier Standard Series Strat, that gives my 2 Fenders a good run for their money.



The guitar has Seymour Duncan Alnico 2 pro pickups in the neck and mid positions and a SD 'lil 59 Humbucker in the bridge. New pots/rewire and a treble bleed cap fitted. As it already had a 2 point trem setup, I optimised the guitar for trem use: New Tusque nut, Tusque saddles, locking graduted height post Sperzel tuners and I removed a string tree. Added the scratchplate later to make it look a little different, and to complement the sparkly black body finish.
