Hey guys I'm new here and just got my first Strat. Wanted it to be a bit of a project and not cost too much so I went with an MIM. It is awesome and a great player, but I like mods. So already I have a loaded pickguard coming with Lindy Fralin Blues Specials with blender pot setup, Fender/Schaller locking tuners and a Graphtech Tusq nut. Should sound awesome for about $800. Here are a couple of pics.

I prefer the sound of the MIM bone nut on the open notes better than the Tusq nut on my Squier.
