EC Gray just does not sound as good as the other name of that color does it? :?
Sorry for straying away from the OP! :oops:

Grigio Silverstone may be trademarked by Ferrari and, hence, not usable by Fender. Anyway....EC Gray is more marketable. On the other, the Lace Sensors are my preference and I see no distinct advantage to JUST having another Clapton, LE notwithstanding.

Beside which....there are ah...let's say....priorities: a JK Masterbuilt Stratocaster; a week at Fender University; the built-in wall unit for the house in Florida;

-are you a betting man, Frank :?: :?

Hey, Doc. Fancy meeting YOU here.
Yeah, I agree too. I DO love the color, though, and I've done DUMBER things! BTW, I'll have Mayer info soon, I think. Nice to see them doing it, cool idea. I feel reasonably good about availability, I'll be able to get at LEAST one for someone... even though 83 isn't many!

well, fancy meeting a dealer here. could you post your information in the thread in the Mike Eldred Section when you get it? I know that's asking a lot, but it would be great for all those people who are waiting with baited breath!

much obliged,

Chandler

Hi, Chandler!
I'd be happy to help. I don't expect to have one in my possession for any length of time UNSOLD; in my experience with Limited guitars, the instrument is sold to the people who put down early deposits with reputable dealers. If you have a favorite Fender dealer already, see them ASAP... As an enemy of spam, I don 't give out sales contact info online, nor do I engage in forums to do business... I just really like guitars! LOL... That being said, if I can be of assistance, I would be happy to speak with you at length anytime, just PM me your contact info, and I will reply with same; we can email or phone offline.

Hey,

I mean just the info in general about the guitar you recieve. I spoke with my contact at Wildwood and He said he'd try to get one set aside from the stock they receive for me, so I'm set. but any information such as specs and/or MSRP would be great!
