Hi everybody,
After my recent posts, I thought I should post photos of my new Strat. It's an American Standard in Ash with a Sienna Burst. Thanks for all the help! Enjoy.

Absolutey gorgeous! I love that Sienna Sunburst color. I've really been toying with getting one with the maple fretboard.

Superb.

Question: Is that a 1-piece body? I can't see any seams (although, I on my laptop right now, so the screen is not the best either...)

Thanks everybody,
Yes, it's one piece of solid wood. Kinda cool. I bought it because it sounded and felt the best to me. Having the one piece and burst makes it even nicer. I tried to like a black one, a white one etc. I just couldn't deny this one. It was the one I kept playing. The others left my lap after about 2 min. Thanks for the kind words.

You left a bit of plastic film around the volume control. :P

That's funny. I was mesmerized by that beautiful guitar to actually notice that. Still impressive. Keen eyes you have there.

Thanks again everybody. I changed the strings, cleaned the fretboard with a dab of lemon oil and pulled the knobs to clean the plastic away. I should have taken the pics after all that.

Thanks for the compliments. Makes me feel good about my choice. I never envisioned buying another burst. I have a tobacco burst on my Epi Dot. Never would have chose that for it's finish either. It just really grabbed my attention the way it sounded and felt. People say the sienna burst suits me. I like it.
:D
