I have an older Fender M80 combo, and a recent Rumble 100 for bass. The M80 has nice reverb and tone, but a little noisey. The Rumble 100 is VERY quiet, and has enoughl EQ control to get a decent guitar sound.

Are there any suggestions as to how I might warm up the tone with this amp for a bluesy, country or classic rock sound via preamp or effects pedals?

Dan

throw a boost, or maybe a tube eq. that 'll give it a nice creamy guitar sound.

glad I found another player that uses a bass amp for guitars. I've preferred to use bass amps over guitar amps for years. I feel that a bass amp gives a better sound, especially while clean. they give better bottom end than guitar amps.
