Hi I just bought an American Stratocaster with the serial number Z9395048.
Question No1: is anyone know where and when it was really made (or where can I get these informations?)?
Question No 2: the sound that produces is a little bit metallic when both tones are at maximum, is that normal? The pickups of some strings (specially for the strings E-A-D-G) are a quite high...

Thanks

Why not look up your serial number at the websites that tell you what the serial numbers mean? Start with www. fender.com. That is, the very website you're at. Or are you just too lazy to do that?

Info from this serial number decoder:
http://www.guitardaterproject.org/fender.aspx

Your guitar was made at the
Corona Plant (Fender), USA
in the Year(s): 2009 - 2010

Look at FENDER Support page -> Product Dating
http://www.fender.com/support/usa_instruments.php

Could you elaborate on what you mean by, "metallic"?
