Post subject: What kind of strat is this?

I have a 2006 Fender Stratocaster, MIM, but on the back of the headstock there is a sticker that says special edition. Does anyone know what distinguishes it from other MIM strats. It has a natural finish with a (faux) tortoiseshell pickguard, and I'm wondering if it is a different wood from other MIM strats, because the guitar is heavy as hell. Is anyone familiar with this? Thanks in advance!

Yeah, I believe that more often than not it is the finish that is different.
