Looking to buy a used 2004 Mexican Strat. Anyone know if this comes with the medium jumbo frets?

Welcome, Joe.

No, that year had the smaller, vintage frets.

I have a 2004 Mexican Standard, and the frets are definately smaller than medium jumbo.

Exactly correct -- The med jumbo frets were part of the MIM "2006 upgrades" that also included a gig bag, a fully shielded cavity, and larger tremblock.
