A lot of people buy custom shops, so it's not some OMG! OMG! OMG! type of thing. Kind of silly actually, but ok.

If I were you I'd get either a new MIM Standard, or a used 90's MIA Standard, something like this...

Myself, I'd rather get a better quality used guitar that's been broken in than a lesser new guitar, for the same price. Goes for cars too.
