Position 2 and 4 are my faves. The 'classic' Strat sound !!

The neck pickup is the classic strat sound - totally defines the guitar in my humble opinion.

Clean ~
Bridge/middle combo - 'Sultans of Swing' heaven. The OTHER defining Strat sound.

Try to use the middle solo sometimes, but can't really find a use for it.

Bridge pickup occasionally - strictly for slightly dodgy 1960s guitar instrumentals.

Have a lot of guitars and just looked at them all. Everyone is set for neck pickup.. even the gtrs with humbuckers.. guess that says it all really..
