I'm buying a late '80's strat plus. I was wondering if any replacement pickguard will fit it or if I need to look for a specific model number. Thanks.

Then you simply require a normal 11 hole pickguard (refering to the number of holes for screws that fasten the 'guard to the body, not counting those on the selector switch or pickups).

Obtainable from many sources, including
