If anyone is using the S1 wiring system could you let me know what you think of it ..Is it worth it to convert a Floyd Rose H.S.S Strat to the S1 wiring system?...
I have a 95 Floyd rose strat that im thinking of loading up with Lace sensor pups ..I already own the dually red/silver and im thinking about using a emerald in the mid and a purple in the neck...I got the red/silver on closeout at GC for $49.00 ..I expect that the emerald and purple will cost around another $100 then $129 for the S1 system and im wondering if it is worth it for the extra positions?
I'm also curious if anyone who has this system actually use the extra tone capabilities?Or if it is just gimmick..What i mostly want to be able to do is split the Red/Silver dually to use the red as a single coil when need be...Other than that i think all the other combination's are cool but that would be the main one i would use...

I find it very usefull. Great for getting low powered humbucker like tones (more skynyrd than slayer).

It's quite nice. A quick tap takes one between middle-only to all three. That is hip.

Only moan is it can't do the neck / bridge pup combo. Which is like Jazzmaster-y, Jaguar-y, Mustang-y...WTF?
